National Organization
of Presbyterian Women is:

“Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study, to support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (USA) and witness to the promise of God’s kingdom.”

What are the "Circles" of Presbyterian Women?
Circles are small groups of Christian women sharing Biblical study, friendship, fellowship, service and support to each other and our church family.

With eight Circles in total, meeting different times, days, and locations, there is one to fit every woman’s busy schedule.  Join us in any of the circles listed below!

Circle No. 1 - Retired in 2008

CHAIRMAN - Mrs. Bee Crane 867-3968
Edna Harper, Anne V. Hickman, Esther Rusmisel, Daisy Summers
and Myrtle Vann

Circle No. 2

Circle 2 meets the 2nd Tuesday at 2:30pm in the Church Parlor. This circle was formed as an outgrowth of an evening circle; many of our members are retirees, although we welcome all age groups. Join us in Bible Study, fellowship and support of one another as we actively work together on various church and community projects.
CHAIRMAN - Mrs. Sue Priest  295-2869

Circle No. 3

Circle 3 meets the second Monday of the month at 7:00pm.  All ages are welcome.  We meet in the evening at members' homes.  We enjoy interactive, lively discussion.
CHAIRMAN - Mrs. Gina Keel  483-7496

Circle No. 4

Circle 4 will be meeting in the homes of circle members.  We will meet on the second Monday each month at 12:00 noon and bring a bag lunch. Drinks and desserts will be provided. We eat, fellowship, discuss "women of the church" concerns and missions, and then have Bible Study.  We try to keep the meeting to an hour for those on their lunch break.  Circle 4 is made up of women of all ages.
CHAIRMAN - Mrs. Sue Wampler  864-8391

Circle No. 5

Circle 5 meets in members’ homes on the 2nd Monday evening at 7:00pm. While all are welcome, most members are age 45 and up. Our Circle is comprised of caring and thoughtful ladies who enjoy great Bible study and support numerous Church and community projects.  Fellowship includes a Christmas dinner in December, covered dish in May and dinners out in the summer. Our average attendance is 25.
CHAIRMAN - Susan Grunke  864-1688

Circle No. 6

Circle 6 meets in the church parlor, 2nd Tuesday at 10:00am. Membership is predominately 50 years old and up who are actively involved in many aspects of church life such as, church officers, teachers, Flingers, and choir.  We work on numerous circle projects and average about 24 in attendance each month.
CHAIRMAN - Mrs. Betty Howie  486-6697

Circle No. 7
Circle 7 meets the 2nd Tuesday morning at 10:00am in the homes of fellow circle members. Circle 7 is a small, intimate group whose members are dedicated and friendly.
CHAIRMAN - Mrs. Mary Lou Turlington  485-6289

Circle No. 8
Circle 8 meets in members' homes the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm.  This circle welcomes all members.  Our ages range from early 20's to late 40's.  Our group is very diversified and includes newlyweds, working moms, stay-at-home moms, and moms-to-be.  We have great Bible Moderators who come up with fun Bible studies that relate to everyday life.
CHAIRMAN - Mrs. Margaret Barefoot  321-6045
