Activities Kick-Off Will Resume
September 8, 2010 Chancel Choir
Wednesday - 6:30pm - 8:00pm
The
Chancel Choir sings for the televised Sunday morning
service year round. All
adults are welcome to sing!
No auditions needed. New folks are welcome anytime!
The C hancel Choir enjoys singing for Christmas Eve,
Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and Easter Sunday Services.
A variety of musical styles, the Montreat
Conference and choir retreats keep the
Chancel Choir
singing in tune!
Highlights of the year include the Christmas Eve Service,
Ash Wednesday
Service, Maundy Thursday Service, Palm Sunday and Easter
Sunday. Come join us!

Highland
Men's Choir
1st
& 3rd Mondays - 7:00 - 8:00pm
A relaxed group that enjoys hymns, spirituals and gospel. This choir is open to all men of the church! The Men's
Choir sings at Worship Services, Christmas Eve Service,
Celebration of Faith, Men's Breakfast and Men's Sunday
School. All men are cordially invited to join the music
and ministry of the Men's Choir.

Youth Choir- Youth Chorale
5:00-5:30pm Sundays
6th-12th graders welcome!
Directed by Cathy Wilson
This group sings a variety of styles, and enjoys special
activities and trips. Join us
each Sunday as we sing and laugh together. It is a great
way to become a part of our church family.
Youth Bells - 4:30-5:00pm Sundays
6th-12th Grades No
experience needed! Youth Bells learns the basics of
ringing Handbells and music reading through games and fun.

Highland
TrebleMakers
All of the children of Highland, Kindergarten through 5th
grade are invited to join the fun of singing with the
Highland TrebleMakers! During the school year they
rehearse in a carefully coordinated schedule of various
activities as part of our Kirk Night program. The
children sing regularly for the 11:00 Sunday Worship
Services, special services and present a musical each
spring.
TrebleMakers meet on Wednesdays for practice.

Children's Chimes
Wednesdays - 4:30
For
K-1st graders - fun and games help children learn the
basics of music. They play in church about twice a year.

Highland Ringers
Sundays - 6:00pm
A Five Octave Handbell Choir.
The Ringers’ schedule includes playing for
Worship several times, Handbell Workshop with the Raleigh
Ringers and a Christmas concert!
This talented group of players commits their time,
talent and energy to praise God through the ringing of the
handbells.

Bells
Wednesdays -
5:00 - 5:30pm
2nd - 5th Grades
2nd
- 5th graders learn to use handbells in worship, and begin
to learn to read music. No experience needed! Junior Bells play occasionally at the 11:00am Worship
Service.

Mile Band
Rehearsals - Thursdays - 6:30pm
Fellowship Hall
Anyone interested in playing or singing with the group
should drop by a rehearsal and meet the group.
